The Embedded World Exhibition & Conference is a global event that features top technical minds working in embedded systems from around the world. This year, Embedded World took place in Nuremberg on March 11th and 12th, 2025. Every year, the conference attracts cutting-edge technology in the fast-evolving embedded hardware and software world. The conference featured brilliant lectures, keynotes, and talks from the industry's who's who and exhibited brilliant innovations in software, hardware, chips, IOT, and much more! Darwin Sanoy (Chief Cloud Architect at GitLab) and his team also attended the event, showcasing an Embedded DevOps demo using Bittle X.

As you can see from the video above, Bittle's walk was not fluid initially. But a quick change in the GitHub code was all that was needed to improve the movement in real time. In a nutshell, any changes to your code using GitLab's Continuous Integration (CI) can be implemented flawlessly with your embedded hardware or firmware. There was a time when DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines were seen only in software projects and complex solutions. But now, your hardware can react to git codebase changes in real time! Darwin's incredible work has been featured on Petoi before!
