Frequently Asked Questions

Where's the manual/documentation?

Please visit our documentation for detailed instructions on assembly, configuring, deploying codes to run sample codes, and using different modules.

What's the recommended age?

Nybble is suitable for adults and children over the ages of 14.   Kids can enjoy playing with Nybble under the supervision of an adult.

How long does it take to assemble Nybble?

On average, it takes four hours to assemble Nybble's frame. No soldering is required for the basic functionalities of Nybble. There are several moments when you need to be extremely careful to plug in the cords in the right order and direction.

How beginner-friendly is the process of setting up the software and playing with Nybble?

After assembling the pieces, you will need to learn some basic operations in Arduino IDE or use the Petoi mobile/desktop apps to configure. Then you can control Nybble with the included infrared remote or the Petoi mobile or desktop apps.

Do I need to order other parts to make Nybble walk? How long does the battery last?

You need two 14500 Li-ion rechargeable 3.7V batteries and a smart charger. Two batteries can provide 45 mins of playing time.
You can easily buy them from Amazon. But Be careful with fake batteries!  Don't trust batteries that claim a capacity larger than 850mAh.  We have been using EBL Li-ion batteries and they work well.
Note that Nybble doesn't come with batteries.
