Maker Faire Bay Area 2025: Petoi Showcases DIY Robotics and Innovation

Petoi’s open-source robot pets had an amazing time meeting everyone at Maker Faire Bay Area, held from September 26–28, 2025. The event was full of creativity, innovation, and hands-on energy from makers, students, and families alike.

Visitors loved seeing our Bittle X robot dog and Bittle X+Arm robo dog and Nybble Q robot cat in action—walking, balancing, playing tricks and showing how fun STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning can be through robotics.  They also experienced about the different capabilities of Petoi robots.

The first 11 seconds of the event video feature a unique beat by JOHN F KING II, a local musician who performed live using pots and pans! Check out more of John’s creative work at kingdrums.com.

Here's a full performance by JOHN F KING II perfectly captureing the DIY and maker spirit that fuels both music and robotics.

We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by. Maker Faire perfectly captures the spirit of the DIY and open-source robotics community, and we can’t wait to see you again at the next event!
