Petoi Robotics Celebration 2026: From Classroom to Research Lab. For Builders and Dreamers.
We're celebrating robotics for an entire month — and you're invited.
From March 10 through April 14, we're showcasing how the Petoi community builds, teaches, researches, and imagines the future of robotics. Whether you already own a Petoi robot or are just exploring the possibilities, there is a way for you to participate and win prizes.
This celebration will culminate in National Robotics Week (April 4–14), when we highlight standout projects across the community.

🛠 Community Project
Built something with your Petoi robot? From beginner experiments to AI-powered robotics projects, we want to see what you've created.
- Share: A photo or video, what your robot does, what sensors/coding/AI methods you used, and what you learned. Every level counts.
🎓 Classroom Project
Using Petoi robots in education? Show how you empower students to explore robotics, coding, and AI.
- Share: A lesson or activity, student reactions or outcomes, and student projects. Help inspire other educators to bring robotics into their classrooms.
🎓 Research Project (Curated by Petoi)
Throughout this celebration, we'll highlight university research and academic projects using Petoi robots for Reinforcement Learning (RL), Computer Vision (CV), Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), and any other relevant fields.
- From classroom to research lab, Petoi robots power real innovation. All valid Research Spotlight submissions will receive recognition by Petoi and are automatically entered into the $50 Participation Prize Draw.
🚀 Future Robotics Project
Don't own a Petoi robot yet? Tell us your imagination of what your robot would do.
- Share: A story about your robot, the new skills you want it to perform, and the kinds of projects you'd like to work on. You don't need hardware to participate — just imagination and curiosity.
🚀 How to Participate (It's Simple!)
All entries must be posted on the official r/Petoi subreddit between March 10 and April 14, 2026 (11:59 PM PST).

Create a new post in r/Petoi.
- highly recommend sharing some photos or videos
- Start your title with the tag:
[NRW2026]- Example: Title "[NRW2026] My dream robot dog moves" with "Future Robotics Project" flair
- Example: Title "[NRW2026] My dream robot dog moves" with "Future Robotics Project" flair
- Choose the appropriate flair (one of the four tracks above).
Early submissions are encouraged — you have over a month to build, test, refine, and share! Robotics takes time to build, so by starting March 10, you have time to order a robot, build your project, and refine your idea.

Note on Prizes:
- Community Favorite winners are selected by the highest upvotes in the Community Project, Classroom Project, and Future Robotics Project tracks.
- Research Project entries are not eligible for the Grand or Community Favorite prizes but are included in the Participation Prize Draw.
