Today is the twelfth day of our quadruped robot Bittle campaign. And we are thrilled to discover that we reached the stretch goal over the night! Congrats to everyone who helped push this project to the next level!
As planned before, we will add a free Grove module to every package that contains a Bittle robot kit. What about a 128×64 (0.96") OLED display? Imagine what you can hack with it! Loop-displaying Bittle's current status? Or let Bittle be a quiet clock sitting on your table, then keeps running and buzzing in the morning unless you catch it? Let's see who will be the first to post the "alarm mod". Then we can rebrand Bittle as a "smart" home product! :P
We have other exciting news to share. Petoi robot dog Bittle has won the "Project We Love" badge from Kickstarter's editorial team. You can see it below our campaign video. And Bittle is getting attention from the public. It's featured on Hackster.io, Make, Stuff Magazine, Laughing Squid, c|net Japan, and other popular press. Thanks for sharing! We have updated some media materials on the campaign page. For example, a close-up picture of the intelligent camera module and an assembling animation of Bittle's body. You can also check this early review and Hackster interview video on YouTube. More funny clips are posted daily on our Instagram and Twitter account @petoicamp. We stay up to follow every comment and message from all over the world. If you don't get a response within 24 hours, feel free to send a reminder.
Another good news for hackers: you could win a free Bittle by completing some challenge tasks! We have posted the rules on our OpenCat forum. We also registered the domain name petoi.camp for your easy access.
